Web Design

The first order of business will be to design your new web site. This will begin with determining your web site goals, targeting your audience, deciding on the look and feel, answer any questions you have, and provide you with suggestions for an effective web site. After this initial meeting, I will prepare a design specification and contract outlining your basic web site. The design specification will also include an estimate of time and effort needed to construct your web site and the associated price. Every Web site is unique and as stated on the Prices page "rates are guidelines".

Web Construction

With the web site design in hand, I will begin construction of the web site. Into your web site we will put your company logos, catalogs, newsletters, press releases, databases, photographs, audio/video, and more. If necessary, we will scan your images and OCR any textual materials you provide. I will implement the design, test the links, test the web site with different web browsers, and make final changes as you request. With your final approval I will publish the Web pages to your site and submit the URL to a variety of search engines (Yahoo, Alta Vista, Web Crawler....etc.). Submission to search engines is a one time process. For further exposure I can suggest a commercial service.

Web Site Maintenance

Web sites periodically need maintenance. For example, if you have a new service or product you want listed, latest newsletters or press releases, or other updates. I will keep your web page up-to-date. Rate: see Prices Page.
